Poplin fabric is also called shirt fabric, pocketing fabric, or Popelina, tc fabric, or even called Dacron. It's a very classic, basic, and economical fabric. It’s so widely used in textile industries. People normally use it to produce shirt, apron, pockets of clothes...and many more stuff.

Besides the density, poplin has different compositions, like 100% cotton, 100% polyester, poly cotton and CVC. The yarn can be carded and combed. The fabric weight can be 70 gsm to 175 gsm. The cloth surface is fine, not easy to fold, and feels soft. Bright color, high fiber strength, durability, light resistance, heat resistance and straightness. The color fastness can be 4 grade for light and middle color, 3 grade for dark color. To get the neat and bright fabric, the fabric will be mercerized.
